FAQs

What is botanical preservation?

Flower & foliage preservation is the act of drying fresh botanical specimens for future use beyond their natural life cycle. It’s an ancient tradition. Today, this craft is used across industries from scientific study to artistic endeavors. Here at Wander & Press, we believe in the magic of the natural world to bring peace, joy and more love to our daily lives.

How do you preserve flowers?

The studio uses several methods (traditional and modern) for perfectly drying out botanicals from moisture, and in a delicate process that maintains an identifying structure. We take immense care with flowers to delay the natural process of color fading.

Think of it as a long, drawn out sunset: the colors eventually mute and it's still a gorgeous phenomenon.
